After starting the Pac-12 season with a pair of wins, the Colorado lacrosse team moved up in all three national polls.
Winners of four straight, the 5-2 Buffaloes moved up one spot to 14th in the Cascade/Inside Lacrosse media poll, while CU sits at 15th in both the IWLCA and NIKE/US Lacrosse Magazine polls while sophomore Julia Lisella and Dabry Kiernan were honored as players of the week on defense and offense, respectively.
The Buffs jump up five spots in the NIKE/ULM poll and four spots in the IWLCA poll.
CU knocked off then-No. 18 Stanford on Friday, overcoming a seven-goal deficit to post a 18-16 victory, and then blew by Cal 15-5 on Sunday. Darby Kiernan had a combined 11 goals, including a career-high six against Cal, and 10 assists in the two victories. Julia Lisella finished with a career-best 16 saves against Stanford, a mark that ties her for the fifth-most in CU history.
Two other Pac-12 teams were in the poll — USC at 12th in the IWLCA and USL polls, and Stanford at 18th in the media poll.
The Buffs have a pair of road games this week, facing USC on Friday and then taking on Arizona State on Sunday.
