The University of Colorado men's golf team stands in 10th place after two rounds of the 10th annual Alister Mackenzie Invitational in Fairfax, Calif.

California, No. 1 in all three college golf rankings, is 35-under par through two rounds, with a team score of 533. Only San Francisco is within striking distance, nine shots back at 542 (26-under par). Four schools are tied for third at 559: BYU, Colorado State, San Diego State and Wichita State. The Buffs are at 4-under 564.

Sophomore David Oraee is pacing with Buffs. He is tied for seventh through 36 holes with a two-round 136 on the 6,759-yard, par-71 Meadow Club course layout.

The Bears as a team, California's Brandon Hagy is running away with medalist honors. He opened with a 7-under 64 with six birdies and an eagle, and then followed that round up with 62. At 16-under 126, he takes a five-stroke lead into today's final round over San Francisco's Taylor Travis (66-65--131).

Today's round is the last of the fall for the Buffs.
