The Buffs turned in a three-round total of 914 at Colorado National Golf Club.
Texas Tech rolled to the team title with an 882 score. Nebraska was second 12 strokes back (894). San Diego State (901), Colorado State (908), and Minnesota (910) rounded out the top five.
Alex Gibson led the way for the Red Raiders and claimed medalist honors with a 213 total. Gibson led wire-to-wire and finished with a five-stroke victory over Kasey Claussen of Colorado State.
Colorado`s Emily Talley recorded her first top-10 finish of the season, as she carded a 223 (75-74-74) and finished in a tie for eighth.
"I personally like playing in tougher conditions," Talley said. "I`m not always an under-par player and I know how to shoot par in any circumstance. When it`s harder for everyone else, I try and make it work to my advantage."

Bardgett ties for fifth
SOUTH BEND, Ind. -- Colorado senior Justin Bardgett posted his best collegiate finish, tying for fifth overall at the Notre Dame Fighting Irish Gridiron Classic.
Bardgett closed with a final round 74 for a 6-over 216 total. His previous best finish was a tie for 17th in the Wolverine At Mission Inn in October 2007.
"It feels good to finally get a top 10 finish," he said.
As a team, the Buffs finished 11th with a 289 total. Host Notre Dame with an 870 score, withstanding a final round challenge from Ohio State, as the Buckeyes posted the best single round of the tournament (3-over 283) to finish at 874. Arkansas grabbed third with an 878 score.
Notre Dame`s Josh Sandman won the tournament with a 212 total at the par 70 Warren Golf Course.
