CU coach Mike MacIntyre said he would like to see the football coaches association and the NCAA take a second look at making players leave the field when they are ejected because of the new targeting rule.

Senior safety Parker Orms became the first Buff ejected from a game for targeting last week at Arizona State and MacIntyre said he didn't think it was right to make Orms sit in the locker room when he had done nothing egregious.

"He has to go to the locker room like he got in a fight or caused some big problem," MacIntyre said. "All he was doing was playing football."

MacIntyre said he did not contact the supervisor of Pac-12 officials to discuss the call against Orms or the punishment for the targeting rule.
