Sunday will mark Mike MacIntyre's first official run behind Ralphie. He got a chance to do it at the spring game in April, but was asked if he'd be nervous for the first official run.
"I won't be as nervous running out behind him as I would be running out in front of Ralphie," MacIntyre joked.
When asked if it's realistic for true freshman quarterback Sefo Liufau to finish the season with his redshirt intact, MacIntyre simply said, "No." Liufau is listed at No. 2 on the depth chart going into the season. ... MacIntyre grew up with the Tennessee-Vanderbilt rivalry. His father, George, was the head coach at Vandy, and Mike played two seasons for the Commodores. He said he remembers his father once being hit by an orange. He also remembers himself being pelted by "300 sugar cubes" by Tennessee fans.
