Colorado State still has not named a starting quarterback for Sunday's game. CU head coach Mike McIntyre said that doesn't matter to him.
"No, it doesn't," he said. "In opening games, your defense better be able to adjust to whatever an offense does. You better have the ability to do that and your kids better be able to know how to play anything because you don't know what they're going to come out in. They might come out in the wishbone. I don't know. We better be ready."
On Monday, CSU coach Jim McElwain joked that his hunting dog, Clarabell, would make the decision. McElwain said he might not make a decision until warm-ups on Sunday.
The rest of the world may not know until Sunday, but McIntyre smiled and said of McElwain, "I guarantee you he knows right now (who will start)."
