SAN DIEGO -- Ian Watts kicked a 43-yard field goal with 23 seconds left as Wyoming overcame a 21-point fourth quarter deficit for a 30-27 win.
Wyoming (5-5, 3-3 Mountain West) rallied from a 27-6 deficit with three touchdowns in the fourth quarter to tie the score. The Cowboys then recovered a fumbled pooch kick on the ensuing kickoff that set up Watts` game-winning kick.
Wyoming rallied on Austyn Carta-Samuels` 10-yard run 11 seconds into the fourth quarter, a 33-yard scoring run by Alvester Alexander and Carta-Samuels` 9-yard TD pass to David Tooley that tied the score.
Brandon Sullivan, who rushed for 105 yards, ran for two touchdowns for San Diego State (4-6, 2-4).

MISSOULA, Mont. -- Chase Reynolds ran for 151 yards and three touchdowns to lead Montana over Northern Colorado.
With the win, Montana (10-0, 7-0 Big Sky) clinched its 12th straight conference championship.
Northern Colorado (3-8, 1-7) jumped out 7-0 with 13:39 to play in the second quarter on an 18-yard touchdown pass from Bryan Waggener to Alex Thompson.
But the Grizzlies tied the game on Reynolds` 1-yard scoring run and took the lead on a 19-yard pass from Justin Roper to Tyler Palmer with 28 seconds left in the first half.
Reynolds put the game out of reach early in the third quarter with touchdown runs of 54 and 37 yards.
Marc Mariani`s 32-yard touchdown pass from Andrew Selle ended the scoring.
