Keegan Hornbuckle, a 6-5 senior forward from North Hollywood, Calif., has committed to Colorado coach Jeff Bzdelik, according to Scout.com.
The recruiting service reported Tuesday night that Hornbuckle had chosen Colorado over Arizona, Arizona State and Santa Clara, each of which had also offered him scholarships.
Hornbuckle, rated a three-star recruit by Scout.com, is the first commitment to CU for the 2008-09 class.
Great name!! Welcome aboard Keegan!
You can see a brief video of his dunk at a camp this summer on youtube.

Buzz working his magic! Snagging someone away from Arizona is an accomplishment. Welcome to the family Keegan!

This is good news. More signs of the program's steady progress when a recruit chooses CU instead of Arizona.
The transition from the previous coach has taken place. It is just time to say it. This year, there aren't going to be issues with attitude problems or underperforming players. Jermyl Jackson-Wilson and Dwight Thorne play the game the right way. They no longer carry the stigma of who recruited them.
It's going to be FUN watching them run this fall.
Congratulations, Coach Bzdelik.
