"Playing in the state championship game will be the greatest reward we've ever gotten," Watanabe told "I think we've intimidated some teams with our defensive numbers, and we want that. We're going to go all out for four quarters, and we're not going to stop."

In other CU commits still playing news: Donovan Lee, Rick Gamboa and the Chaminade Eagles take on Hart tonight in a CIF state championship Southern California Division II bowl game. The two teams met earlier this season with Hart winning 55-54 in overtime.

Advertisement reports: "The winning team will have to deal with practicing in the middle of finals next week in preparation for playing the Northern California winner in the CIF state championship Division II bowl game on Dec. 21 at StubHub Center in Carson."
