CU RB Travon McMillian vs. OSU front seven

The senior has had a great year for the Buffs to this point, topping the 100-yard mark four times. Oregon State has the Pac-12's worst run defense. Led by McMillian, the Buffs will aim to get the run game going.

CU CB Delrick Abrams vs. OSU WR Isaiah Hodgins

Hodgins has been OSU's deep threat, averaging a team-best 14.8 yards per reception. Abrams is returning from injury this week and hopes to keep Hodgins and other OSU receivers in check.

CU defensive line vs. OSU QB Jack Colletto

This is a key matchup whether it's Colletto or anybody else playing quarterback. Colletto would be making his first career start at the Division I level and the Buffs will try to make him uncomfortable all day. Against most teams, the defensive line has been good at generating pressure up front.

CU offensive line vs. OSU defense

Given CU's struggles up front, Oregon State may bring some extra pressure to try to get to Steven Montez and slow down the run. The Buffs' line is in need of a good day.

CU's roster vs. complacency

Although the Buffs have lost two in a row, this would be an easy game to overlook because of Oregon State's woes. CU has to stay on task and remain focused mentally at the start and throughout all four quarters.
