CU QB Steven Montez vs. Washington DBs

The Huskies' secondary is one of the most talented in the country, and they're very good at making quarterbacks pay for mistakes. Washington's Taylor Rapp returned an interception for touchdown against the Buffs in the 2016 Pac-12 title game, and cornerback Myles Bryant had a pick-six against Montez last year.

CU offensive line vs. Washington defensive line

The Colorado line had a great game against Arizona State two weeks and a rough outing last week against USC. Washington has the best front the Buffs have seen and the CU line has to play well.

CU DE Mustafa Johnson vs. Washington tackles

Johnson has been a beast all season, ranking among the national leaders in tackles for loss. He's had at least one sack in four of the last five games. Washington has allowed 37 tackles for loss this season, so Johnson could have some opportunities to make plays.

CU DBs vs. Washington WRs

Last week was a rough one for the CU secondary, as they gave up several big plays in the air against USC. Washington ranks 24th nationally with 27 passing plays of 20 yards or more, so the Buffs have to step up and keep the Huskies in front of them.

CU RB Travon McMillian vs. Washington LB Ben Burr-Kirven

McMillian is the Buffs' leading rusher, and Burr-Kirven is the Huskies' leading tackler. They are sure to meet up a lot throughout the day. McMillian's had a great year, but the Buffs need him to find some success running the ball against the Huskies.
