The Colorado football team will renew an old rivalry with an afternoon kickoff in Lincoln, Neb.
Game times and TV arrangements were announced Thursday for several of CU's games for the upcoming season, including the details for the Buffaloes' trip to Nebraska.
Earlier this year, the Buffs' season opener against Colorado State was announced as a 7:30 p.m. kickoff on Friday, Aug. 31, at Sports Authority Field at Mile High in Denver.
On Sept. 8, the Buffs will visit former Big 12 Conference rival Nebraska, with a 1:30 p.m. (Mountain) kickoff. The first meeting between the teams since 2010 will be broadcast on ABC (KMGH-7). The Cornhuskers lead the all-time series 49-18-2.
CU's home opener will be Sept. 15, when New Hampshire, one of the top teams in the Football Championship Subdivision (FCS), visits Folsom Field. That game is slated for a 3 p.m. kickoff on the Pac-12 Networks.
Following a bye week, the Buffs will open Pac-12 play on Friday, Sept. 28, by hosting UCLA at Folsom Field. The game is slated for a 7 p.m. kickoff and will be broadcast on FS1.
The only other game time scheduled at this point is the Buffs' trip to Arizona on Friday, Nov. 2. That game is scheduled for an 8:30 p.m. kickoff and will be on FS1.
The rest of the Pac-12 games will be announced during the season, typically 12 days in advance.
