On Friday night, the Buffs will hold a practice/scrimmage at Folsom Field.

The practice is scheduled to start at 6 p.m., the same time as the kickoff for the season opener against Colorado State on Sept. 1, allowing the Buffs to work on catching passes and fielding kicks and punts under the lights.

"It shouldn't be that big of a deal, but I like doing that a couple of times when we're playing our first game under the lights," MacIntyre said.

MacIntyre said during the scrimmage portion of the night, the Buffs will work on specific situations.

"I'll just call out different situations; coaches won't know, players won't know, and try to make it chaotic like a game when different things happens and try to have them all react to it," he said.

The practice is closed to the media and public.
