Colorado's Phillip Lindsay was named to the watch list for the Doak Walker Award on Thursday.

The award honors the top running back in the country.

A senior, Lindsay rushed for 1,189 yards and 16 touchdowns during the regular season last year, while added 47 catches for 390 yards and another score.

Lindsay is one of 61 players on the watch list, including 10 from the Pac-12.

In 1994, Rashaan Salaam became CU's lone winner of the Doak Walker Award, pairing that with the Heisman Trophy he won that season. CU's Chris Brown was runner-up in 2002.

Earlier this month, Lindsay was named to the watch list for the Maxwell Award, which honors the top player in college football.
