Colorado's added another commitment to its 2018 football recruiting class on Friday afternoon.

Delrick Abrams Jr., a cornerback at Independence (Kan.) Community College, announced on Twitter that he has given his verbal commitment to the Buffs.

Rater a three-star recruit by Scout.com, Abrams has also received scholarship offers from Arizona State, Arkansas, Mississippi State, Oklahoma State, Southern Mississippi, UCLA and West Virginia.

Scout.com reported that Abrams visited CU, Mississippi State and Oklahoma State before making his decision.

The 6-foot-3, 180-pounder had 30 tackles and three interceptions at Independence last season. He will play at Independence this season and then have three years to play two seasons at CU.

Abrams is the 12th player to commit to CU for the 2018 class, and the second from the junior college ranks. Linebacker Davion Taylor from Coahoma (Miss.) Community College committed last month.
