Colorado added another commitment to its 2017 football recruiting class on Tuesday night.

Jacob Callier, a defensive end from St. John Bosco in Bellflower, Calif., announced on Twitter that he plans to sign with the Buffaloes.

"This decision has not been easy on me but after praying and thinking about it this is the best move for me to further my education and football career. #GoBuffs," Callier tweeted.

Rated a three-star prospect by Scout.com and Rivals.com, Callier is 6-foot-2, 247 pounds. He's a talented and strong lineman who is stout against the run and can rush the passer.

Callier had seven other Division I offers, according to Scout.com, including from Pac-12 rivals Arizona and Arizona State.
