Three former Colorado Buffaloes have been invited to participate in the NFL scouting combine later this month.
Receiver Nelson Spruce, cornerback Ken Crawley and offensive tackle Stephane Nembot will take part in the combine Feb. 23-29 in Indianapolis. The NFL released the list of participants on Wednesday.
Spruce finished his CU career last fall as the program's all-time receiver. NFL.com gives him a grade of 5.38, projecting him as an "NFL backup or special teams potential" player.
NFL.com gives Crawley a grade of 5.08 and Nembot a grade of 5.09, giving both of them a "better-than-average" chance to make an NFL roster.
All three are projected as late-round picks, if they are selected at all. CU did not have any players drafted in 2015.
In addition to the three Buffs, two former Colorado State players - cornerback DeAndre Elliott and receiver Rashard Higgins - have been invited to the combine.
