Matt Hayes of the Sporting Life thinks highly of new Washington football coach Chris Petersen. So high in fact that he ranks him as the top coach in the Pac-12 without ever coaching a game in conference play.

But what about Colorado's Mike MacIntyre? He checks in at No. 11 on the list, not necessarily because of his results with the Buffs after one season, but because of the "brutal situation" at CU. Hayes references the Buffs' facilities issues as part of the problem in Boulder and hints that he thinks MacIntyre might not be long for coaching under the Flatirons.
