Colorado cornerback Kenneth Crawley has missed three practices this week, including Friday's scrimmage, after suffering a hand injury March 14.

Crawley had a pin inserted into one of his fingers and is expected to be able to practice with a cast on his hand during the second half of spring ball. The team will be off for the next week for spring break and will get back to work on March 31.

Crawley has been a starter the past two years during his freshman and sophomore seasons, but he is facing increased competition to keep his job this year from junior college transfer Ahkello Witherspoon.
