The University of Colorado women's golf team is in second place at the Silverado Showdown.

The Buffaloes, co-hosting with the Oregon Ducks, matched tied a season low score with a 290 through the first 18-holes of action on the 6,206-yard, par 72 Silverado Resort North Course. Colorado tied Stanford with 65 pars to lead the 18-team field and made 10 birdies.

No. 11 Stanford leads the event at 2-under par, 286 and is four strokes ahead of No. 40 Colorado.

LSU and Oregon are tied for third at 5-over par (293) while Louisville and Pepperdine are tied for fifth at 6-over par.

Sophomore Brittany Fan leads CU with a 71, or 1-under. Fan, tied for fourth, was one of only eight golfers to post a subpar round in a field of 93 players.

CU women's tennis falls to No. 27 USC

CU women's tennis lost 6-1 to the No. 27 USC at the South Campus Tennis Complex.

The Buffs dropped their sixth straight match to fall to 6-13 (1-7 Pac-12) and USC improves its record to 10-4 (5-0 Pac-12).
