CU wide receiver Paul Richardson did not practice Tuesday as he continues to take time off during the week to allow his sore right ankle to heal.

Colorado coach Mike MacIntyre said he probably wouldn't have played Richardson last week at Washington if the junior hadn't approached him and told him he wanted to test his ankle in pregame warm-ups and play if it felt good.

Richardson ended up catching a long touchdown pass for the Buffs' only points in the game and eclipsing the 1,000-yard mark for the season. It's possible a similar scenario could play out this week in terms of when a decision is made about Richardson's availability, but MacIntyre said "he should be good."
