Joanne Reid and the Colorado ski team did it again Saturday.

The CU senior won her sixth race in a row and the Buffs won the Utah Invitational that came to a close at Soldier Hollow.

Reid finished the women's 15K freestyle race in 43 minutes, 15.0 seconds. She was followed by teammate Eliska Hajkova in second at 43:18.3.

Combined with Rune Oedegaard's second-place finish in the men's 20K freestyle, CU won meet in Midway, Utah. The Buffs finished with 904 points, while Utah was second with 845. The Utes' Miles Havlick won the 20K freestyle.

Meanwhile in Red River, N.M., the Buffs claimed the lead at the at the New Mexico Invitational behind the alpine team.

CU's Jessica Honkonen was second in the women's slalom, while Henrik Gunnarsson was third in the men's slalom.

The Buffs entered the day trailing Utah by 27 points, but surged ahead by 17 after the slalom races. Two more slalom races remain today as CU looks for a weekend meet sweep.
