After placing third at the NCAA Mountain Region Championships on Friday, the fifth-ranked Colorado men's cross country team earned one of 13 at-large bids to advance to the NCAA Championships on Saturday in Louisville, Ky.

This will be the 26th straight appearance at the national championship for the CU men, which is the longest active streak in the national.

The top-ranked CU women's team automatically advanced to nationals after winning the region championship. This will be their 24th trip in 25 years.

The NCAA Championships will be held at E.P. Tom Sawyer State Park for the third time in six years. The women's 6-kilometer race will start at 8:45 a.m. MT and the men's 10k will follow at 9:45 MT a.m.
