The Colorado women's cross country team held steady in first place, while the men's team moved up one position to fourth in the latest USTFCCCA Coaches Poll.
The women received eight of 12 first-place votes for the second straight poll and totaled 356 points to stay ahead of Oregon, which also held steady at second. The Ducks picked up three first-place votes and 341 points for the runner-up position. New Mexico earned the final first-place vote and moved from fourth to third this week with 329 points.
The men recorded a pair of first-place vote and 324 points to move from fifth in the preseason poll, to fourth in this week's rankings. Northern Arizona remained first in the standings, picking up seven of 12 possible first-place votes and 350 points and Stanford stayed at second overall with three first-place votes and 348 points.
