For the second consecutive USTFCCCA Poll, the Colorado women's cross country team was ranked second, while the men's team was fifth overall.

The women's team earned 345 points in the poll and picked up two first-place votes. New Mexico, which is first for the second week, had 348 points this week with seven first-place votes. Right behind CU was No. 3 Providence, which recorded three first-place votes and 338 points.

CU is one of four Pac-12 teams ranked this week. Oregon is fourth overall (327) while Stanford is seventh (275). Washington (241) is just outside the top 10 at 11th overall.

The Buffalo men picked up 311 points in the latest poll to hold on to their fifth place ranking. Syracuse was first overall again with all 12 first-place votes and 360 points. Oregon is the top Pac-12 team ranked in the poll at second (338 points) and Northern Arizona is third overall (327).

The Buffs are off until October 1, when they will host the 31st Annual Rocky Mountain Shootout.
