The Colorado men's track and field team moved up four positions to 18th in the latest USTFCCCA Coaches Poll.

The Buffs, who are one of four Pac-12 teams ranked, recorded 103.02 points in the computer generated poll. Oregon is ranked second (263.69), Southern California is 13th (117.78) and Stanford is 16th (108.68).

The Buffs have several individuals ranked in the top 30 in their respective events. Senior Connor Winter has the fifth fastest 3,000-meter steeplechase time this season (8:42.44) and freshman John Dressel is currently fifth in the 5,000-meter run (13:48.88). Sophomore Zach Perrin is 12th in the 1,500 (3:43.76) and senior Ammar Moussa is 18th in the 5K (13:57.16).

One other Buff, Andrew Ghizzone, is ranked in the top 30. His score of 6,845 points in the decathlon, which he recorded at Texas Relays last week, is 14th in the NCAA.

Colorado is hosting the CU Invitational this Friday and Saturday at Potts Field. Events on Friday will start at 3 p.m. and the meet will begin at 11 a.m. on Saturday.
