The Colorado Buffaloes women's lacrosse team will make its much-anticipated debut in the NCAA Tournament on Friday at 5 p.m. MDT.
The start time was announced Monday following Sunday night's announcement the Buffs will take on UMass in a first-round match at Penn. The winner will play either the host Quakers, the tournament's No. 7 seed, or Navy in a Sweet 16 match on Sunday.
CU takes a 16-3 mark into its tourney showdown, with all three of those losses coming against NCAA tournament teams on the road — Stony Brook, the tournament's No. 8 overall seed, and twice against USC, including a loss in the Mountain Pacific Sports Federation championship match on April 30.
The Buffs recorded an 11-7 win at UMass in the second game of the season on Feb. 17.
