The surging Colorado Buffaloes soccer team will be part of a little bit of digital media history this week.

On Thursday, CU's home match against Oregon will be the first to be streamed live via Twitter on a new Pac-12 Conference platform called Pac-12 Plus.

The match will be the first of nine events the league plans to stream live this fall on Pac-12 Plus, though more events may be added later. That list also includes the CU volleyball team's match at Oregon on Nov. 10.

CU enters Thursday's showdown against Oregon with a seven-game winning streak and its first 3-0 mark in league play since joining the Pac-12. Kickoff against the Ducks is at 3:30 p.m. Thursday at Prentup Field.

The Buffs hot streak is garnering recognition from around the league. On Tuesday, freshman Taylor Kornieck was named the Pac-12 Offensive Player of the Week after notching the only goals for CU in 1-0 road wins over the weekend at Arizona and Arizona State. Kornieck leads the club with eight goals, a mark that also is tied for the league lead, and she has scored goals in three consecutive matches overall.

After posting the two shutouts on the road, redshirt freshman Jalen Tompkins earned her second consecutive Pac-12 Goalkeeper of the Week honor. Tompkins recorded three saves against Arizona and six against Arizona State while pushing her shutout streak to four consecutive games.

The Buffs enter Thursday's contest against Oregon with a No. 36 ranking in the RPI.
