The University of Colorado tennis program announced on Thursday the addition of Kieran Burke to the staff as an assistant coach.
Burke replaces Blake Mosley, whose three-year tenure with the Buffaloes ended earlier this summer when he accepted the head coach position at Appalachian State.
Burke arrives in Boulder having spent last season as a volunteer assistant at Vanderbilt. Previously, he spent four seasons as an assistant at Boston College. With Burke on-staff, Vanderbilt reached the national semifinals last year.
"I am thrilled that Kieran has joined my staff," head coach Nicole Kenneally said. "With Kieran's experience at Boston College leading the team to heights not seen, as well as this past year at Vanderbilt, and the insight with the defending national championship team, I believe he has a unique [perspective]. He is joining our program at a fantastic time and I look forward to working with him now and in years ahead."
