Colorado added some muscle to its 2017 recruiting class on Monday night.

Grant Polley, a three-star lineman from Denton (Texas) High School, announced on Twitter that he intends to play at CU.

"Exited (sic) to announce that I've made my decision to continue my education and football career at the University of Colorado!" Polley said on Twitter.

The 6-foot-4, 263-pound Polley chose the Buffs over 24 other schools that have offered him a scholarship. His other offers included Arizona State, California, Colorado State, Kansas State, Michigan, Mississippi State, North Carolina and TCU. He originally committed to Kansas in January. The Jayhawks were the first team to give him an offer.

Polley has a three-star rating from both and He received a CU offer in late April and visited the Boulder campus in May.

Polley becomes the 14th player to commit to the Buffs for the 2017 class, and the second from Denton. His high school teammate, cornerback Chris Miller, committed June 22.
