Two of the all-time best from the University of Colorado track and field program are being feted among the all-time best in the Pac-12 Conference.
On Tuesday, the league named former Buffaloes Emma Coburn and Shalaya Kipp to the Pac-12 Women's Track and Field All-Century team.
Coburn won a 2013 conference title in the 3,000-meter steeplechase after qualifying for the Olympic games the previous summer by winning the U.S. Olympic Trials. The mark of 9 minutes, 23.54 Coburn turned in during the Olympics remains the fourth-best time in CU history, behind three recorded by another former Olympian, Jenny Barringer.
Also an Olympian in 2012, Kipp became the third CU athlete to win the NCAA title in the steeplechase in 2013. She also won the Pac-12 crown in the event in 2012 and 2014.
