Rivals.com reported on Wednesday night that Drew Lewis, a linebacker from Coffeyville (Kan.) Community College, has given a verbal commitment to Colorado.
Lewis is the 15th player to verbally commit to the Buffs, with national signing day coming up on Feb. 3.
A 6-foot-2, 224-pound outside linebacker, Lewis is set to join the Buffs in the summer after finishing his school year at Coffeyville. He will have three years of eligibility remaining.
Lewis redshirted in 2014 at Washington, but was dismissed from the team in July. He played one season at Coffeyville. Lewis was given a three-star rating coming out of Eastlake (Wash.) High School in 2014.
Lewis took an official visit to CU this past weekend. He was joined on that visit by Coffeyville teammate Juwann Winfree, a 6-foot-2, 210-pound receiver. The Buffs are pushing to land Winfree this week, as well.
