The Colorado women's soccer team has lost one of its best players, as forward Brie Hooks has transferred to Seattle University.

Hooks, who has led the Buffs in scoring the past two seasons, would have been a senior for the Buffs this fall.

Despite playing just three seasons in Boulder, she leaves CU ranking fifth on the program's career chart for points (56), tied for fifth in assists (14) and sixth in goals (21). She's also fifth with nine career game-winning goals and sixth with 83 shots on goal.

Hooks was named to the Pac-12 All-Freshman team in 2013 and earned All-Pac-12 second team honors in 2014.

A native of Seattle, Hooks graduated from Tahoma High School, just outside of Seattle.
