FORT COLLINS — Ambushing the host Colorado State Rams with a game-changing run immediately after halftime, the Colorado Buffaloes completed a stirring second-half rally to post an 88-77 win Sunday afternoon in the teams' annual rivalry battle at Moby Arena.

CSU used a torrid 7-for-10 effort from 3-point range in the first half to build a 53-39 lead at the break. CU, however, quickly stormed back, beginning the second half with a 15-1 run and outscoring the Rams 21-3 over the first seven minutes after halftime.

Wesley Gordon turned in a big second half, finishing with 15 points and 12 rebounds for the Buffs. Josh Scott gave CU two players with a double-double by recording 21 points and 11 rebounds. Josh Fortune scored 16 points for CU and George King finished with 11.
