Quinessa Caylao-Do, a shooting guard from Tacoma, Wash. has signed a national letter of intent and will join the University of Colorado women's basketball team next fall, head coach Linda Lappe announced Monday.

"Quinessa is a consummate team player who is a proven winner," Lappe said. "She is a versatile player who can defend, score, handle the ball and pass."

The 5-foot-9 Caylao-Do averaged 13.5 points per game last season. She will reunite with Bria Rice, who signed with Colorado last week. Both were teammates at Beamer High School for their first three seasons and have spent time on the same court since middle school. Cayalo-Do will play her senior season at Bellevue High School, where she is set to graduate this spring.
