And if they like the 2011 lineup, they'll love CU's 2012 home schedule.
As for whoever ends up coaching the Buffs next year ... that man might want to start cinching it up early.
The Pac-12 is scheduled to announce its 2011 schedule today, and the schedule includes a visit by Oregon — currently the No. 1 team in the nation — and perennial powerhouse Southern Cal to Folsom Field.
The official schedule won't be released until today; however the Camera was able to piece together CU's 2011 lineup when other schedules around the league -- including those of Washington and several schools from the Southern Division -- were posted on other newspaper sites and fan sites from around the conference.
Along with the five home games at Folsom, Colorado will also play its annual intrastate rivalry game against Colorado State in Denver on Sept. 17.
The Buffs will make their Pac-12 debut on Oct. 1 with a home game against Washington State. They'll then hit the road for a pair of road games, playing at Stanford (Oct. 8) and then at Washington (Oct. 15), before returning home to face the Ducks.
Colorado will then head to Arizona State on Oct. 29, followed by a Nov. 5 home game against Southern Cal and the season's home finale on Nov. 12 against Arizona.
The Buffs will finish the season on the road, playing at UCLA on Nov. 19 before the regular season finale at Utah — the Pac-12's designated “rivalry weekend” on Nov. 26.
The Buffs open the season next year at Hawaii on Sept. 3, with a Sept. 10 game at home against a yet-to-be-determined opponent.
CU plays Colorado State in Denver on Sept. 17, with the non-conference finale at Ohio State set for Sept. 24.
As for 2012, the conference schedule will simply be reversed. The Buffs will play Stanford, Washington, Arizona State, UCLA and Utah at home; and travel to Washington State, Oregon, Southern Cal and Arizona.
Colorado also plays at Fresno State in 2012 and vs. Colorado State in Denver, with the final home foe yet to be determined.
