The Colorado football team added a talented defensive player to its 2019 commitment list on Wednesday night.

Kamryn Farrar, a linebacker and safety from Skyline High School in Dallas gave his verbal commitment following an unofficial visit to the Boulder campus.

Farrar posted on Twitter: "Enjoyed my time at Colorado today and after a long discussion with coach Brown and Coach MacIntyre, I am proud to say that I am committed to the University of Colorado."

Listed at 6-feet, 205 pounds, Farrar has a three-star rating from Rivals.com. According to 247Sports.com, Farrar also has offers from Illinois State, Jackson State, Liberty and Louisiana-Monroe. Arkansas has expressed interest, as well.

Farrar is the fourth player to commit to CU for the 2019 class and the first from out of state.

Others in the 2019 class include: running back Joshia Davis from Valor Christian, quarterback Ty Evans from Palmer Ridge and offensive lineman Austin Johnson from Highlands Ranch.
