Colorado athletic director Rick George said he hopes to have a new compliance director hired by June 1.

Julie Manning, who served as CU's compliance for nearly a decade, moved to Wyoming in December where she was hired to serve as senior associate athletic director and senior women's administrator in the Wyoming athletic department.

Jillian Keegan has served as interim compliance director for the Buffs since Manning's departure. Sports information director Dave Plati said there hasn't been a rush to fill the vacancy because Keegan already was handling much of the day-to-day compliance workload with help from Jo Marchi even before Manning left .

Much of Manning's time was dedicated to overseeing numerous programs in the department including men's golf, lacrosse, skiing, track and field and tennis. Those responsibilities have been divided between associate athletic director Jim Senter, senior women's administrator Ceal Barry and George, who oversees lacrosse.

Manning also served as CU's Title IX coordinator and chair of the gender equity committee.

George was not available for comment Tuesday because he is in California fundraising and attending the Pac-12 Conference spring meetings.
