The Pac-12 released the 2014 football schedule on Wednesday and as of now the University of Colorado will play all of its games on Saturday and two in NFL stadiums next season.
The Buffs open the 2014 campaign against in-state rival Colorado State on Aug. 30 in the Rocky Mountain Showdown. The game will again be played in Denver at Sports Authority Field.
CU's second game will also be in an NFL venue. The Buffs travel to play Massachusetts at Gillette Stadium in Foxborough -- home of the New England Patriots -- on Sept. 6.
Colorado's home opener also will be its Pac-12 opener. The Buffs host Arizona State on Sept. 13 -- marking the earliest CU has played a conference game.
CU wraps up non-conference play a week later on Sept. 20 against Hawaii. The Buffs will complete the home-and-home series in Honolulu to open the 2015 season.
Colorado plays two more conference games -- at Cal and at home against Oregon State -- before its first bye week.
The Buffs will get an extra week to prepare for a road game at Southern Cal on Oct. 18. The Buffs then host UCLA and Washington before playing at Arizona on Nov. 8.
Mike MacIntyre's squad will get another bye week before a road game at Oregon. The Buffs' season finale is at home against Utah on Nov. 29.
Kickoff times and television information for the first three games should be available by the end of June. The rest of the schedule is determined either six or 12 days before each game based on TV deals.
