Frazier is one of 46 players around the country on the watch list for the Hornung Award.
A two-time team captain, Frazier plays tight end on offense and defensive line on defense. He also plays on special teams.
As a freshman in 2014, Frazier played on offense (fullback and tight end) and defense (defensive end). He was the first CU player to appear on both sides of the ball in the same game since 2005.
Frazier has played exclusively on offense the past two seasons, but is expected to help the Buffs on offense and defense this year.
Frazier is one of three Buffs named to preseason watch lists to this point. Running back Phillip Lindsay was named to the watch list for the Maxwell Award (college player of the year) and linebacker Derek McCartney was named to the watch list for the Lott Impact Trophy (honoring players of outstanding character and performance).
Later this week, the watch lists for the Biletnikoff Award (top receiver) and Doak Walker Award (top running back) will be announced. Watch lists for the Davey O'Brien Award (top quarterback), Ted Hendricks Award (top defensive end), Lombardi Award (top lineman) and the Jet Award (top return specialist) will be announced at a later date, as well.
