Colorado added a fifth commitment to its 2018 football recruiting class on Thursday night.

Joshka Gustav, an outside linebacker from San Bernardino, Calif., pledged to the Buffaloes on Twitter.

"First off, I would like to thank my family in Germany, and my host family in California for supporting me throughout this process," Gustav tweeted. "I would also like to thank all the coaches that have recruited me and have given me the opportunity to play football at their universities.

"With that being said, I'm very excited to announce my commitment to play football for The University of Colorado."

The 6-foot-3, 225-pound Gustav, from Aquinas High School, is rated a three-star recruit by Scout.com. In addition to CU, he has scholarship offers from Oregon State and UNLV.

Gustav joins a commitment list that includes Pomona High School athlete Max Borghi, Valor Christian quarterback Blake Stenstrom, Highlands Ranch safety Ray Robinson and tight end Walker Culver from Chattanooga, Tenn.
