The Associated Press college football preseason Top 25 poll was released on Sunday.

I will be one of the voters this season. Here's the ballot I submitted to the AP:

1. Clemson
2. Alabama
3. Oklahoma
4. Florida State
5. LSU
6. Ohio State
7. Notre Dame
8. Michigan
9. Tennessee
10. Stanford
11. TCU
12. Mississippi
13. UCLA
14. Michigan State
15. Washington
16. Baylor
17. Miami
18. Houston
19. USC
20. San Diego State
21. Georgia
22. Iowa
23. Louisville
24. North Carolina
25. Oklahoma State

Just missing the cut on my ballot: Oregon, Nebraska, Texas, Florida, Boise State.

My top 5 or 6 isn't much different from what others have projected season. In fact, the top 6 in the AP poll is exactly the same, except that Alabama is No. 1 and Clemson is No. 2. Of course, the Tide beat Clemson in the national title game last year. I still think they're the two best teams in college football. I gave the nod to Clemson, however, because of its quarterback, Deshaun Watson, and the fact that Alabama has a lot of holes to fill.
