Here's to a speedy recovery

Here's wishing long-time Folsom Field public address system announcer Alan Cass a speedy recovery.

Cass will miss this weekend's game, and possibly several more, as he recovers from a recent bout with pneumonia.

If you've been to a Buff game -- or a Bronco game, for that matter -- over the last three decades or so, you've heard Cass' booming voice. He's one of the best in the biz, and the University of Colorado had no bigger fan or better friend.

Here's hoping we all get to hear that basso profundo again soon.
