Help on the way
Posted September 10, 2007
On a team with little margin for error, the fact that Colorado has been missing perhaps three of its best players at three positions can’t be discounted.
The good news is that two of those players, RB Hugh Charles and WR Josh Smith, could be back for this weekend’s Florida State game. Their speed should be a big boost for the offense.
On the horizon, LB Michael Sipili could be back for the Miami game, along with DL Chris Perri. Those are two big bodies that will no doubt help the defense.
Another situation also worth watching? Buff boss Dan Hawkins hinted earlier this week that this might be the week he’ll toss a few of his young O-linemen — i.e. Ryan Miller, Sione Tau and Kai Maiava — into the fire.
So far, CU’s starting five linemen have played every offensive snap of both games. It will be interesting to see if Hawk baptizes his kiddy corps against FSU.

I would love to see charles run for a couple 20 yard gains and J-fly go long a couple of times. I would curtainly hope the receivers can catch and the TE's get plenty of looks. If the Offense clicks the buffs will put up a fight! Here's to Miller pancaking a seminole or two! Go Buffs!

Yeah, I'm sure we're all going to intimidate the 'Noles with our black clothing. As our beloved Buffs average another 2.3 yards per carry; our defense spends 75% of the game on the field and we lose by at least 3 touchdowns. Don't get me wrong; I love the Buffs but let's take off our black and gold colored glasses and look at things objectively.

My goodness! Let's all think positive and Put some stick um on the receivers gloves, get the TE's the ball, and let Charles work his magic. We need to get pumped up for the game and show Mr."no offense" Bowden a thing or two. GO BUFFS!!!!!!!!
