Carlisle must go
Posted September 6, 2007
NEWS: A federal appeals court has revived a lawsuit against the University of Colorado by two women who allege they were gang-raped at a football recruiting party.
VIEWS: CU regent Cindy Carlisle needs to vacate her position — now.
Carlisle is a legal fiduciary of the University of Colorado, “a person to whom property or power is entrusted for the benefit of another.”
You, the voters, entrusted Carlisle with that legal responsibility as your representative in governing the University of Colorado. She has violated that trust in every manner possible.
Carlisle is married to the man who is suing the university she represents on your behalf. It is a blatant example of conflict of interest that must be resolved immediately.
Here are the addresses and e-mail addresses of the remaining eight regents. Let them know how you feel:

Absolutely right.
She will be at a black tie dinner on September 27th and I for one am going to publicly confront her among a lot of very important people.

I also noticed it was headline material at the Rocky Mountain Spews. Those guys and the Post are never gonna quit. I wonder why we never hear any outrage over Woody's sexual harrassment lawsuit?

I think i checked into how to recall her a while back and learned that she must be recalled by her district, the people who voted her in. From what I remember the regents can't do it. However, this is just what i remember. i may be wrong.
on the way to arizona...go buffs!!!!!

Totally agree Neil. This makes no sense.
I hit all of the regents with and email including my District and the At-Larges.
Hope the rest of our constituents take the time to do the same.
I think they say for every letter recieved there are 7 others who feel the same way, maybe more.
Send in those emails/letters folks. Let's get this gal out of there. This isn't right.
