More on scheduling
Posted November 16, 2007
Consider:
CU coach Kathy McConnell-Miller is friends with UConn coach Geno Auriemma and Auriemma put in a good word for McConnell-Miller when she was being considered for the CU job; and,
Former UConn star Ann Strother is now CU's director of operations.
So how long will it be before CU schedules a series with UConn?
McConnell-Miller said this week she hasn't talked with Auriemma recently about playing, but in the past Auriemma has indicated he would like the UConn-CU game to be played in the Pepsi Center.
McConnell-Miller wasn't sure whether that would happen, or, if so, when.

At some point in the near future let's hope that the Buffs are up to playing UConn. At the same time, I would really prefer that it not be in Denver. The atmosphere isn't conducive for college basketball and women college basketball isn't big enough to draw a sell-out crowd.
