I'm liking this blackout idea

Colorado students want everyone who attends the CU-Florida State game on Saturday night to wear black.
I'd be impressed if even half the crowd does it. CU fans aren't used to actually organizing themselves to do something like this. Hey, it's Boulder, where free spirits come to roam.
I think it's pretty cool that students would try something like this. My only questions are; Why doesn't this stuff happen more often? What took so long?
Good luck. I know there will be a few of those old curmudgeons who refuse to wear black because they insist it's not an offical school color. Booooooooooo!

When the Buffs beat Baylor last October to improve to 1-6, coach Dan Hawkins said he was happy with the win, but he wasn't going to disrespect the history of the program by doing backflips over 1-6.
CU students should follow their coach's lead and save storming the field for something really big, like an undeafted season or a big win over Oklahoma or Nebraska.

FYI, CU beat Texas Tech to improve to 1-6, not Baylor. They should have beaten Baylor a week earlier but the D couldn't hold the pedestrian Baylor O on fourth down in OT and then B Jack telegraphed that INT in the end zone that Stevie Wonder could have caught. Love B Jack, but that throw was a hip loader.

Like I said in other post, BLACKOUT sounds great, but it does not represent well. Black just blends into the stands, and actually makes it look like an empty seat next to someone wearing different color. If half our fans (or hopefully more) wear gold instead, it will show up much better! GOLD for GLORY!!

Louisville had a blackout last year and it showed really well. The crowd noise and they hype from having an organized blackout will show the size of the crowd. Black it Out!

Hawk should take the cue - go all black unis, black helmets with white outline decal. Heck, even beat the Samoan drum and have 'em walk down through the stands. Make it intimidating
