What's next: CU will host Oregon on Friday at 6 p.m. at Coors Events Center.

During the fourth quarter on Sunday at McKale Center, the Colorado women's basketball team had a victory in sight.

A potential win slipped away, though, as the Buffaloes fell to host Arizona, 63-52.

CU (5-12, 0-6 Pac-12) has lost seven in a row and now sits alone in last place in the Pac-12. Arizona (11-7, 2-4) snapped a three-game skid.

The Buffs took a 50-48 lead on a Kennedy Leonard layup with 5:53 to play in the fourth quarter. The Buffs then went 4:36 without scoring, while Arizona went on a 10-0 run to pull away.

In all, CU was outscored 15-2 after Leonard's layup, going 1-for-9 from the floor with four turnovers down the stretch.

As a team, the Buffs made just 29.8 percent of their shots, with senior Jamee Swan, who grew up near Tucson, going 0-for-11.

Lauren Huggins led the Buffs with 15 points, while Leonard had 12 points and Haley Smith added 10.

CU was dominated in the paint, being outscored 34-8 and out-rebounded 38-33.
